Booking Verification :
Travel Traders reserves the right to verify and conduct checks on all bookings for fraud. Travel Traders may not issue tickets if the bookings do not pass our verification procedure. We reserve the right to use third party tools to verify credit card numbers, names and addresses for fraud. By completing the booking, you acknowledge and give us permission to disclose your details for verification purposes to third party. Travel Traders is not liable for any loss caused due to tickets not being issued for bookings which fail our verification procedure. We may try contacting traveller by phone and/or by email provided in booking.We may ask for appropriate documents of traveller and/or Credit card holder to authenticate the credit card given to make reservation.
Online Booking Made on Travel Traders Website:
When you make a booking online through our website, you accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your travel documents are correct. Travel Traders accepts no responsibility for any errors made by traveller or by the party making booking online on behalf of traveller.
Online bookings made are just travel reservation and are subject to confirmation once the payment is received in full. Online bookings are not guaranteed by Travel Traders if Arilines change thier fares/taxes/fees. Travel Traders accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage if airlines change fares/taxes/fees before ticket issuance.
Passport,Travel Documents and Visas
Visas, including transit visas, are the passenger’s own responsibility. For more information please log on to: www.dfat.gov.au or www.smarttraveller.gov.au Please check with the respective Embassy or Consulate of each country that you are travelling to, as many destinations require visas for both Australians and non-Australian passport holders. For more information, log on to www.visalink.com.au You need to ensure that you have at least 6 months validity on your passport from the date of your return.
International travellers booked on flights to the United States, including Hawaii, it is now mandatory, under the Visa Waiver Program to receive an electronic authorisation known as ETSA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) no less than 72 hours before travel to the USA. Please note that you must ensure you have a copy of the ESTA documentation on hand to present at check in. Passengers who fail to complete their application may be refused boarding by the airline. This can be obtained from the following Website: www.cbp.gov/etsa
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations. Vaccinations are strongly recommended for certain destinations. You need to contact your local doctor who will advise you of these requirements. Please note that vaccinations may be recommended some period in advance of travelling.
Amendments to terms and conditions
Travel Traders may, without prior notice, amend or modify this disclaimer by posting the amended disclaimer on our website.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover your travel arrangements. Travel insurance is also strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all overseas travel. We currently do not provide Travel Insurance. However, you can obtain travel insurance from other third party provider.
Cancellation and Refunds
Booking cancellations will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Please read the terms & conditions carefully including fare rules to check whether the fare is refundable, as not all fares can be refunded. Fees will apply to all refundable tickets. Our Service Request Fee is $150 per ticket plus any airline cancellation fees and/or no show fees. This will vary depending on the airfare you have booked. For some fares no refund is available, so check your specific fare rules carefully. Refunds will only be paid to you once we have received the funds back from the supplier(s). Generally flight tickets cannot be refunded if they are partially used. If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your travel insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim your cancellation charges through your insurer.In cases where tickets are issued on client credit card, airline will refund amount directly to clients credit card less airline cancellation penalties. in such cases, clients must pay $150 as an admin fees to Travel Traders to initiate the cancellation process from Airlines.
Refunds take approximately 14 weeks or more to process. Where we incur any liability for a cancellation fee for any booking, which you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee or charge.
CANCELLATION OR REFUND WILL ONLY BE PROCESSED IF YOU HAVE SENT THE REQUEST IN WRITING.
Changes and Reissue:
Fees will also apply where a booking is changed or tickets are reissued. Please check with your consultant whether the fare is changeable, as not all fares/tickets can be changed. Fees will apply to all changeable fares. Our admininstration fee is $150.00 per ticket, per change plus any airline charges. Where we incur any liability for a charge or reissue for any booking, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee or charge.
A Booking Fee applies per person, per booking for some travel where departure city/country is not Australia and also Trans Tasman (eg, New Zealand) airfares may attract booking fees.
Fares and discounts:
All fares and dicounts published by Travel Traders either online or in any other material are subject availibilty and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. Travel Traders may refuse to provide discounts or published fares if third party providers such as airlines, Hotels or any other service providers related to discounted fares pull out their special offers.
All promotional prices published by Travel Traders either online or in any other promotional material are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The price is only guaranteed when paid in full. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change. Price changes may occur by reason of matters outside our control, which increase the cost of the product or service. Such factors include adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases. Please contact a consultant for up-to-date prices.
We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly, by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.
Certain taxes are mandatory in various countries. There may also be an additional local tax charged at some airports. All taxes are subject to change without notice.
For more information on whether your airfare is eligible for Frequent Flyer rewards, please contact the airline directly. When booking online, please ensure that you have entered your correct number in the special section featured in the booking engine. Alternatively, Please advise travel consultant your frequent flyer details. Your consultant will pass these details on to the relevant supplier, but we cannot guarantee that the supplier will credit any points for your booking. You should retain copies of your air ticket and boarding pass.
Credit card surcharges of 1.5% for Visa or MasterCard will apply when paying by credit card in store, online promotions may vary. Credit card holder must be travelling, we do not accept any third party credit cards and we hold the right to reject your credit card. In the event that payment has been made to Travel Traders by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to Travel Traders.
You must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements and recommended precautions relevant to your travel and ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. In some cases, failure to present required vaccination documentation (e.g. proof of Yellow Fever vaccination) may deny you entry into a country. We recommend that you consult with your local doctor, travel medical service or specialist vaccination clinic before commencing your travel.
Please advise your travel consultant of any special requirements you may have, such as special meals, medical requirements. Travel Traders will not be liable for whether airlines provide or do not provide the special requests even after requesting.
All prices quoted in the flight booking engine are in Australian dollars, regardless of where your requested flight is departing from.
We act as an agent for, and sell various travel related products as agent on behalf of, numerous transport, accommodation and other service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruise line operators, as well as all of our wholesalers. Our obligation to you is to (and you expressly authorise us to) make travel bookings as your agent on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We exercise care in the selection of reputable service providers, but we are not ourselves a provider of travel services and have no control over, or liability for, the services provided by third parties. All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms and conditions, including conditions of carriage and limitations of liability, imposed by these service providers. We can provide you with copies of the relevant service provider terms and conditions on request. Your legal rights in connection with the provision of travel services are against the specific provider and, except to the extent a problem is caused by fault on our part, are not against us. Specifically, if for any reason (excluding fault on our part) any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your rights are against that provider and not against us.
